Newsletter No. 1: January 2018

This first newsletter introduces Special Rapporteur Tendayi Achiume, her mandate, and priorities, such as building engagement with civil society and addressing racism in citizenship, nationality, and immigration policies. It announces her first thematic report on racial and ethnic discrimination in nationality and citizenship exclusion, to be presented at the 38th session of the Human Rights Council in June 2018, with a call for submissions by February 2018. It also highlights a planned country visit to the UK (April-May 2018).
