Report of the Special Rapporteur on contemporary forms of racism, racial discrimination, xenophobia and related intolerance (A/HRC/38/53)

This report examines the contemporary resurgence and spread of neo-Nazi ideologies and the serious threats they pose to diverse populations, including Jews, Muslims, people of African descent, Roma, indigenous peoples, and others. It focuses in particular on the role of digital technologies in propagating neo-Nazi and related ideology, including online propaganda, hate speech, incitement to violence, and the digital recruitment of young people. The report also outlines good practices for countering neo-Nazism online, drawing on measures taken by states, technology companies, and civil society.
